Maintenance Technician I

Eaton Aerospace in Bethel, CT has an opening for a Maintenance Technician I. Starting pay is minimum #####/hour but could be up to ##### depending on experience; 1st shift M-F, 7am-3:30pm.

Essential functions:

• Perform building facilities maintenance (painting, repair work, light plumbing & HVAC, snow removal)
• Perform monthly Preventative Maintenance checks
• Coordinate maintenance of tooling
• Assist with repair/maintenance of all machinery, welding machines, and other equipment
• Perform visual inspection of equipment
• Support the design and fabrication of test and production equipment such as pressure cyclers, water flow stands, hydraulic and pneumatic stands, and vacuum systems
• Recommend design and process improvements to existing machinery and tooling

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance or related field required.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
