Overview
The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for Cushman & Wakefield Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.
Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
- Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
- Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs when directed. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including high-dusting.
- Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows.
- Wash glass and trim at entrance doors; interior/exterior wash and spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
- Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Damp-wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, and sweep/mop/scrub floors.
- Monitor potential defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and report to supervisors.
- Collect building trash daily and place in approved container in designated collection area for removal.
- Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specifications.
- Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways/sidewalks as directed.
- Perform periodic tasks such as high-dusting, leather and wood surface care, polishing, and wall washing.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
- Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
- Ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Use a portable backpack-style vacuum cleaner.
- Attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, strong organization, and high energy and endurance.

Competitive pay may vary based on location, eligibility, hours worked, job type, business line, and collective bargaining agreements.
The compensation offered will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, geographic area, market pay rates, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation range is $18.00 – $20.60.
