Position Title: Service Technician - Part-Time
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Bethesda, MD
Work Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 8 hours per week
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified a part-time Service Technician to support ice and water dispensers and medical/research refrigeration equipment at the National Institute of Health (NIH) Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. This position combines hands-on preventive maintenance and repair work with responsibility for coordinating routine service activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and serving as Aldevra’s primary onsite technical representative.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform preventive maintenance on ice machines, ice/water dispensers, refrigerators, and freezers.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs within your qualifications.
- Follow NIH-specific maintenance, safety, access, and documentation procedures.
- Replace filters and perform required cleaning, inspections, and operational testing.
- Complete service reports, equipment records, photographs, and PM documentation.
- Track equipment deficiencies and service issues through completion.
- Communicate with NIH personnel regarding scheduling, access, equipment status, and completed work.
- Maintain accurate equipment and service-history information.
- Serve as Aldevra’s primary onsite technical representative for routine NIH service activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
