Pay:
Pay for this position starts at $29/hr. $3.00 shift differential for working 2nd or 3rd shifts. Pay is determined by level of skill and experience. Total Rewards:

Shifts:

2nd Shift: 8-hour: (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) operating Monday through Friday. Must be able to work overtime as required.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth operations and a safe working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, and General Electric
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Must be able to perform maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on mechanical and electrical repair.

Experience troubleshooting/repairing and wiring 3 phase motors

Experience with pneumatics

Experience troubleshooting/repairing and replacing VFD's (not required but a plus!)

Working with HMI and PLC controls

Qualifications and

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred. Proven experience, 2 – 3 years, as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems efficiently and perform effective repairs. Proficient in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
