This position supports the daily cleaning, repair, and upkeep of facilities, grounds, and equipment across Little Pine State Park. The work ensures that buildings, trails, and public areas remain safe, functional, and welcoming. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties:
- Facility Cleaning:
Clean restroom facilities, rental cabin spaces, and pool areas using established procedures - Grounds Care:
Mow grass, trim weeds, clear debris, and help maintain trails and outdoor areas - Repair Work:
Complete routine building repairs and assist tradesmen with carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks - Equipment Maintenance:
Perform basic service on park vehicles, motors, and tools and operate equipment safely - Painting Tasks:
Paint and stain park buildings, structures, signs, and other wood surfaces - Seasonal Duties:
Remove snow, spray herbicides to control invasive species, and manage water and sewage systems

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment in March 2027.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel is required.
- This position may require overtime.

- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction ; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training .
