Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Workplace Operations Coordinator to participate in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our office space, ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for all employees and visitors.
Job Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain HVAC (A/C) systems, coordinating repairs and servicing as needed to ensure consistent climate control
- Manage lighting systems throughout the facility, including bulb replacement, fixture repairs, and reporting
- Oversee key inventory and distribution, including issuing, tracking, and recovering keys for employees and visitors
- Administer access control systems, including badge programming, permissions management, and troubleshooting entry issues
- Manage parking arrangements, including visitor parking and resolving parking-related concerns
- Coordinate installation, removal, and maintenance of wall hangings, artwork, and décor
- Schedule and oversee painting projects, including touch-ups and full repaints as needed
- Maintain signage throughout the facility, including way finding, safety, and branding signage; coordinate updates and replacements
- Conduct regular safety inspections, ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, and address hazards promptly
- Manage furniture inventory, including ordering, assembly, repairs, and reconfiguration of work spaces
- Oversee cleaning services and ensure all areas of the facility meet cleanliness standards
- Coordinate plumbing repairs and maintenance, working with vendors as needed
- Maintain breakroom supplies, equipment, and cleanliness
- Support security operations, including monitoring systems, coordinating with security personnel, and responding to incidents
- Previous experience in facilities management, office administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to coordinate with external vendors and contractors
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to respond to urgent facility issues as they arise
Hiring Rate Minimum: $22.50 hourly (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum wage thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum: $30.00 hourly
