Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Custodial Manager 2 to support housekeeping and custodial operations at West Chester University in Pennsylvania
. This hands‑on leader will ensure a safe, clean environment while driving team engagement, training, and service excellence. The role focuses on developing frontline staff, building strong client relationships, and delivering consistent operational performance, with the primary focus being on the dorms.

What You’ll Do- Lead daily custodial operations, ensuring high standards in housekeeping, waste management, and event support
- Hire, train, and develop frontline staff; mentor high‑potential employees into future leadership roles
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
- Manage custodial equipment, supplies, and inventory, including ordering and tracking consumables
- Build strong client relationships and respond promptly to concerns or service needs
- Drive operational performance through inspections, process improvements, and fiscal accountability

What You Bring- Strong leadership experience in custodial, environmental services, or facilities management
- Knowledge of cleaning systems, equipment, and chemical safety protocols
- Experience managing budgets, supplies, and inventory controls
- Ability to train, coach, and develop diverse teams
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills in fast‑paced environments
- Proficiency with operational systems and compliance tracking tools
