Overview

The University of New England (UNE), Maine’s largest private university, is home to two beautiful coastal campuses in Biddeford and Portland. Our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in supporting UNE’s mission by ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming environments across campus.

The Lead Housekeeper cleans and performs routine maintenance of campus buildings and leads a team of 12–20 housekeepers during first shift across multiple buildings, with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour (annualized to $42,640).
