Day porter

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to maintain the exterior appearance and cleanliness of our commercial building and grounds. This is an exterior-only position. The successful candidate will take pride in the property's presentation, proactively identify issues, and communicate findings to management in a timely manner.

• Utility meter documentation and site trash cleanup:
  Take clear photographs of all on-site utility meters (electric, gas, water) on a scheduled basis and submit images to property management for record-keeping and billing verification.
• Weekly grounds cleanup:
  Perform a thorough walkthrough of all exterior areas once per week — parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping beds, entryways, and perimeter fencing — collecting litter, debris, and any discarded materials.
• Issue reporting:
  Identify and promptly report any new concerns to management — including vandalism, graffiti, damaged fixtures, standing water, safety hazards, pest activity, or any changes to property conditions — with photos when possible.
• General exterior observation:
  Maintain a visible, professional presence on the property exterior during scheduled shifts. Monitor for unauthorized activity, vehicle issues in the parking lot, and overall curb appeal.
