Summary of role
As part of our site-based Bedford & Billerica Campus Services Team, this employee will plan and schedule infrastructure and equipment maintenance in accordance with asset care flow charts and guidelines to support the reliability and availability of assets, within our CMMS system, Maximo. This position is also responsible for equipment lifecycle management from initial installation through decommissioning and will provide technical support for various operational needs.
Key Responsibilities- Establish strong working relationships with key manufacturing and business customers/partners and demonstrate accountability with a focus on customer service and compliance.
- Apply knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes and best practices to ensure comprehensive equipment lifecycle management and uptime.
- Plan maintenance work activities for carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC disciplines with the trade leads of each group and work with technical experts to optimize resources.
- Communicate customer requirements, alternatives, scheduling, and project status updates effectively through correspondence, meetings, and face‑to‑face conversation with management and peers.
- Work closely with technical and content experts to ensure work is completed and documented efficiently in compliance with Lantheus Quality Management Systems.
- Review all work orders and feedback to ensure accuracy, completeness, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate contractor work associated with planned jobs to ensure training requirements are met and purchase orders are in place.
- Develop and maintain metrics for performance trending and improvement.
- Coordinate schedule with supervisors and managers and plan in conjunction with technical experts as required.
- Complete pre‑work such as change control, engineering change management, out of service, safety assessments, hazard review, contingency planning, etc.
- Promote safety rules and awareness and demonstrate good safety practices at all times.
- Provide support for incoming/outgoing packages, internal mail flow, and coordination between buildings, including sorting and distribution of sensitive packages and materials.
- Assist with C‑Cure 9000 access control software, integrating employee data and maintaining accurate building mapping.
- Support operation and maintenance of on‑site printers and workplace equipment, including backup supplies and scheduling of service.
- Minimum of high school diploma and relevant experience; college coursework preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in planning and scheduling.
- 3+ years of experience working in a regulated environment (GxP preferred).
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems;
Maximo highly preferred. - Experience with reliability centered maintenance (RCM).
- Ability to comprehend technical maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications.
- Physical requirements:
normal eyesight, balance, and mobility; ability to lift at least 20 lbs, climb a 20’ ladder, sit or stand for prolonged periods. - Trades knowledge or experience working directly in one or more trades is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience working with customers, service partners, and peers in a customer service role.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and determine priority levels of projects and tasks.
- Detail and results oriented; works seamlessly with peers across the site.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with integrity.
- Can‑do approach to problems and persistence in the face of adversity and limited resources.
- Willingness to respond timely 24 x 7 to support the Bedford & Billerica sites as required.
- Familiarity with CMMS, CAFM, SAP systems, corporate security/badging systems, and database tools is a plus.
