Part Time Facility Janitor - Housekeeper

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Janitor to support daily cleanliness and sanitation at a large senior housing complex. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, welcoming spaces and understands the importance of cleanliness in a residential environment for older adults.

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, dining spaces, restrooms, and activity rooms.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.

• Sanitize high‑touch surfaces to support resident health and safety.

• Clean and restock restrooms; monitor supply levels and report needs.

• Assist with light exterior upkeep such as sweeping entryways and maintaining walkways.

• Respond to quick‑turn cleaning needs or spills in a timely, professional manner.

• Communicate maintenance concerns (lighting, leaks, hazards) to management promptly.

• Maintain janitorial equipment and ensure storage areas remain organized.

• Interact respectfully with residents and staff; uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable working in a senior‑living environment and around residents.

• Must pass background screening per facility requirements.
