Shifts:
Day and Evening Shifts, Alternating Weekends, Holidays. We provide on-the-job training! Immediate Hire! Starting rate will depend on experience!
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Binghamton/Endicott, NY. Absolut Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, 301 Nantucket Drive, Endicott, NY 13760.
Floor Tech Key Duties- Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, refinishing and buffing throughout the facility.
- Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
- Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
- Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
- Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
- Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
- Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
