Description
We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Fellowship House, a nonprofit residential substance use treatment facility. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for providing basic maintenance services, cosmetic repairs, and assisting with monthly maintenance needs at the facility. Additionally, the Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for teaching clients maintenance techniques and skills to help them with future employment.
Duties- Ability to work with co-occuring populations (substance use and mental health)
- Must have a valid Alabama drivers license
- Strong knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Tuesday- 7am-4pm
- Wednesday- 7am-4pm
- Thursday- 7am-4pm
