Key Responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative

• Cleaning the coaches and buses to best quality
• Sweeping the vehicle and removing all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats, and luggage racks and driver’s cabin
• Checking vehicle for any lost property
• Wiping down all armrests, windowsills and trays
• Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth
• Hoovering any carpets (and seats if required)
• Buckle up all seat belts, mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath
• Wiping overhead luggage racks and footrests
• Cleaning coach toilets
• Completing the cleaning checklist and displaying at front of vehicle
• Touch Point Cleaning

• Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever‑changing workload
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
• A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
