Position:
Lead Field Service Technician.
Location:
Alabama, AL, United States. Req .
- Lead and guide safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants at customer sites.
- Assist with and direct training and development of new technicians.
- Operate air separation plants and solve field site issues with minimal supervision.
- Interact with customers across various production plant types, offering guidance, support, and clear communication.
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems.
- Manage time effectively to complete operations, maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
- Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements, driving efficiency through strategic planning and project management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary technical education or relevant work experience preferred.
- Strong practical skills and knowledge of production processes, plant equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Expertise in instrumentation, control, mechanical, and electrical maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Strong safety awareness; strictly follow procedures during troubleshooting, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form; able to understand process control schematics.
- Proficiency in computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems; strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Physical ability to meet requirements including confined‑space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call‑in coverage ensuring reliable presence during critical periods.
