Yulista Contract Services LLC
Responsibilities- Inspect and assess damage to aircraft structural components and formulate proper repair or replacement procedures using applicable technical data.
- Remove and install close-tolerance, high-strength fasteners in major aircraft structural components.
- Advise on structural repair, modification, and corrosion protection treatment to maintain structural integrity.
- Perform post-repair flight control weight and balance functions and control surface rigging per designated technical orders.
- Inspect components and repairs for structural serviceability according to specifications and technical publications.
- Manufacture and use jigs, fixtures, forms, and molds to fabricate repair or replacement parts.
- Use advanced metalworking practices, equipment, and tools to form, cut, bend, and fasten replacement or repair parts to damaged structures and components.
- Apply shop drawing and metal layout techniques, shop mathematics, corrosion identification, removal, repair, and prevention; clean metals; apply protective coatings and markings.
- Close completed maintenance discrepancies in automated maintenance systems and document maintenance per quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
- Store, handle, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials according to environmental standards and company processes.
- Operate and maintain related aircraft support equipment.
- Use automated maintenance systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain records, document maintenance actions, and update time change database.
- Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
- Maintain strict tool control procedures, reporting missing, lost, found, or unattended tools to supervisor; inventory and inspect tools regularly and replace worn or damaged tools.
- Comply with safety rules and regulations; promptly report accidents, injuries, safety violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.
- Enter maintenance records and verify work performed satisfactorily.
- Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Skilled in depot-level processes and procedures for replacement of major structural components.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills, ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.
- Effective communication of issues to management and other crew members.
- Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs; working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
- Knowledgeable of fixed-wing aircraft construction features, identification, and characteristics of aerospace materials; proper use, mixing, and storage of acids, solvents, alcohol, caustics, primers, and paints; proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
- Knowledgeable in depot fabrication, repair, and replacement of metal components, tubing, cable, plastic, fiberglass, bonded honeycomb, and composite structural components.
- Ability to use respirator, forced air, or other breathing equipment during performance of assigned duties.
- Accurate data entry into databases; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
- Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
- Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista goals.
- Basic mathematical computation skills.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of relevant aircraft depot-level structural maintenance experience with fixed or rotary-wing commercial, government, or DoD aircraft.
