You will be responsible for approving designs, installing, and maintaining systems that create immersive and efficient environments for our clients. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and designers to ensure seamless integration of technologies in both commercial and residential spaces. Your role is critical in bringing our company purpose to fruition through technology solutions that are easy-to-use and beneficial.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design & System Integration:
Collaborate with clients and project teams to implement custom solutions. Integrate audio, video, lighting, shades, video conferencing, alarm, cameras, networks, and control systems. Ensure systems are compatible with existing or emerging technologies. - Installation & Implementation:
Perform the physical installation of equipment, including displays, speakers, projectors, video conferencing, cameras, alarm and control systems. Program and configure systems for optimal performance, including calibration and testing for sound quality, video clarity, and overall functionality. - Client Interaction & Training:
Build strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional service. Train end-users on how to operate their systems effectively, ensuring they can confidently use the equipment to meet their needs. Able to clearly communicate with other professionals such as architects, designers, contractors, builders, electricians, etc. - Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure systems are performing as designed. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, either remotely or on-site, to minimize disruption to the client. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of system designs, configurations, and installations. Provide reports to management and clients, outlining project timelines, system performance, and any necessary follow-up actions.
Qualifications include:
- Technical Expertise:
Extensive knowledge of all systems listed above and timeframe required to complete. Proficiency in reading and creating schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to system designs. - Experience:
3+ years of both integration and customer service experience. Hands-on experience in both commercial and residential environments. Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects and training. - Certifications:
Certification credentials from industry leaders such as Control4, URC, CEDIA, Pro Source, AESBL, etc. are preferred. Driver's license and clean driving record. - Skills:
Professionalism, strategic and creative thinking, problem-solving and judgment, interpersonal skills, teamwork and independence, leadership and management, flexibility and adaptability, physical capability, commitment to compliance, eagerness to learn.
Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
