Responsibilities
Environmental Services / House Keeper - Floor Tech
MUST HAVE availability to attend an 8‑business‑day orientation from 8 a.m.‑4 p.m. without interruptions.
Prior EVS experience in a medical setting/environment is required on resume for consideration.
Background check and drug screen required.
Need reliable, full‑time staff.
Responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks in accordance with established work routines and under the direction of the Environmental Service Manager.
Performs a variety of semi‑skilled tasks in the routine upkeep, maintenance, and repair to the physical plant, building, grounds, and equipment.
Works to achieve excellence in total facility appearance and within safety structures.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge- The ability to read and implement written instructions and the ability to understand and implement oral instructions.
- Knowledge in routine maintenance and complete floor care at a medical facility, including but not limited to carpeting, painting, masonry, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, refrigeration, general mechanics, and gardening.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, climb a 6‑foot ladder, lift up to 75 pounds, and withstand the physical strains from the use of all required equipment.
- Ability to measure the proper solutions as related to the specific task.
- Ability to operate the floor machine, auto scrubber, vacuum, extraction equipment, washer, and dryer, lawn mowers, other gardening equipment, and any other equipment necessary to perform the assigned task.

- Valid HS diploma/GED required.
- Previous Environmental Services / House Keeper experience in a medical environment required.
- Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection‑free condition.
- Responsible for daily disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.
- Must handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals in accordance with established safety regulations.
- Uses safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
- Assists with housekeeping duties as necessary or assigned.
- Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
- Sits, stands, bends, kneels, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
