Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations at Union at Cooper Hill, a 281‑unit community located in the Irondale area of Birmingham.

This is a high‑priority, immediate hire – we’re looking for someone who can step in confidently, lead a team, and keep the property running at its best from day one.

• $28.00–$35.00 per hour DOE
• Up to $4,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
• On‑call bonus structure up to $100/week

Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
On‑call rotation: 1 week every 3 weeks

• Oversee and complete work orders & apartment turns
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and carpentry
• Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs
• Supervise, train, and support maintenance team members
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal needs
• Partner with Property Manager on projects, budgets, and capital improvements
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards

• 4+ years of maintenance experience (apartment/multifamily preferred)
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
• Vendor management and supply ordering experience preferred
• Strong skills across plumbing, electrical, drywall, framing, carpentry
• Welding experience is a plus
• HVAC & EPA certification required (Strong Preference if BARD AC Unit knowledgeable)
• CPO certification required
• Reliable, proactive, and ready to take ownership immediately
