Role Description The Evening Cleaner is a part-time, on-site role located in the Greater Birmingham, Alabama Area. This role is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial facilities. Daily responsibilities may include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas; emptying trash and recycling; restocking supplies; and ensuring that all assigned spaces meet company cleanliness standards.

The Evening Cleaner follows established checklists, uses provided equipment and cleaning solutions safely, and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. The role requires consistent attendance, adherence to schedules, and professional interaction with clients and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform core cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and equipment, including basic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow cleaning checklists and written or verbal instructions.
• Good time management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete work within assigned evening shifts.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Professional conduct, clear communication skills, and willingness to maintain a positive working relationship with clients and team members.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is beneficial but not required; training may be provided.
• Reliable transportation to on-site locations in the Greater Birmingham, Alabama Area and ability to work evening hours as scheduled.
