Fairfield Inn & Suites, a part of Ascent Hospitality, is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Worker to join our Engineering Team.

This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the Engineering Department while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, clean, and exceptional guest environment.

At Fairfield Inn & Suites, our Engineering Team is responsible for maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning property that delivers an exceptional guest experience. If you enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, and taking pride in keeping a hotel running smoothly, we would love to meet you.

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Engineering team with preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled projects.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Communicate maintenance concerns, safety issues, and equipment problems to the Engineering leadership team.
• Assist with property improvement projects, repairs, inspections, and renovations as needed.
• Support outside vendors and contractors while working on hotel property.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Help ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property that exceeds guest expectations.
