Overview
Arrow Service Team is looking for a full-time Cleaning Technician in Bismarck, ND. We are a disaster restoration company focused on cleaning and restoring property contents after events such as water or fire damage, and performing associated on-site cleaning tasks.
Our team responds on-site to document salvageable and non-salvageable items, and to pack-out belongings. Salvageable items are inventoried, cleaned, and stored until return (pack-in) is scheduled.
Techs work at different job sites, cleaning structures to remove soot and debris, and may assist with post-construction cleans. Time is spent both at the shop and at residential or commercial sites. Advancement opportunities exist within the department and other areas of the company.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Inspect, sort, document, and pack personal property (contents) from fire or water damaged properties.
- Pack out salvageable personal property, ensuring no damage during loading and transport.
- Clean and inventory personal property.
- Label and document items, boxes, and containers according to requirements.
- Wrap furniture or other larger items as needed.
- Return contents to location per customer request (pack-in).
- Clean structures (buildings) and perform general cleaning on job sites.
- Operate company vehicles ranging from minivans to box trucks.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
- Perform other duties as needed (related).
- 1 year or more of cleaning and/or moving experience preferred; willing to train the right person.
- Ability to occasionally pull a trailer or operate a forklift (or be trainable).
- Ability to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner with or without supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Problem-solving ability and adaptability to changes or challenges.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team setting.
- Professional conduct, integrity, positive attitude, and respect for others.
- Strong punctuality.
- Must not have restrictions prohibiting work in customer locations or a history of theft.
- Must be safety-minded.
- Lift constantly 5-10 lbs; frequently 10-25 lbs.
- Stand/walk, push/pull as needed.
- Occasional climbing on ladders or height equipment; overhead motions.
- Balancing, crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
- Exposure to varied indoor/outdoor temperatures; most jobs indoors (climate controlled).
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud (occasional to frequent).
- Starting pay typically $16.50 to $18.50+ per hour, based on experience and skills (DOE).
- 90-day review with potential wage adjustment.
- Annual reviews with potential wage adjustments.
- Hazard pay when required to wear full PPE.
- Participation incentives for after-hours on-call status where applicable.

- 40–44 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 am–5:00 pm; occasional earlier starts for travel between areas.
- Occasional overnight stays with hotel provided and per diem.
- On-call after hours (approximately every 6–8 weeks) once ready to participate.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Arrow’s office/shop.
