The Water Production Worker
- The Water Production Worker is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of municipal water treatment and distribution systems to ensure safe and reliable water service.
- Performs maintenance on wells, pumps, water mains, hydrants, valves, meters, and treatment plant equipment, while operating construction and maintenance equipment as needed.
- Responds to service issues and emergencies, maintains facilities and grounds, supports after-hours on-call operations, and ensures compliance with safety standards and licensing requirements.
- Residency requirement would be roughly 15 minutes from residence to ALP Utilities.
- This position is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, non- exempt, union position.
- Hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PM.
