Job Overview:
The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

• Perform janitorial duties and meet the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Collect, classify, sort, store, ship, receive, label, clean, recycle, and package hazardous waste.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures, including stopping unsafe behavior of others and oneself.
• Work as part of a team with other employees, performing repetitive tasks and maintaining a clean work area.
• Take direction from management, respond to supervision, and communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support shift lead with punch‑list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service, reporting systems, and environmental requirements.

• 3–6 months of training or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Completed safety and task training certification; forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and safe use.
• Willingness to share knowledge with team.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

The employee must be able to sit and talk or listen frequently, lift or move up to 35 pounds, and work in the conditions described.

Monday–Friday: 4:00pm–12:00am. $18.20–$19.20 per hour.
