About The Role
Handles the activities associated with the storage, retrieval and final destruction of inactive records. Maintains an orderly file room. Organizes information alphabetically, by subject matter, or by using codes to maintain orderliness. Pulls requested files and returns files to the proper location. Ensures that all records are correctly filed and readily available. Destroys boxed records designated for destruction. At the senior level may assist with on‑job training and may assist in resolving issues.
Howdoes this role make an impact?
- Accurately tracks incoming and outgoing boxes or files into the records inventory system (TAB Fusion).
- Performs or assists with special projects such as reconsolidation or reorganization of records as needed.
- Maintains accurate and confidential destruction of corporate records.
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Must possess a valid license to drive between office locations to perform essential functions.
- Home office employees are preferred to have or obtain:
- A class C driver’s license for driving company box trucks (requires a DOT physical).
- A forklift operator’s license.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, reach overhead, bend, kneel or crouch and ascend/descend a ladder or stairs.
- Regularly pushes/pulls/moves documents, files and boxes using a hand truck, pallet jack, and/or forklift when loading/unloading shipments.
- Regularly lifts and carries up to 35 pounds.
- Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.
- May be exposed to seasonal extreme temperatures.
$41,600 – $57,200. The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive PayIn addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short‑Term Incentive plan.
