Post Harvest Specialist

• The Post-Harvest Specialist is responsible for executing cannabis post-harvest processes such as buck down, curing, sorting, trimming, ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Essential duties include maintaining work area cleanliness, assisting team members, following SOPs, and adhering to safety guidelines while handling post-harvest operations.
• Minimum qualifications require candidates to be at least 21 years old, able to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation.
• The role demands physical stamina to stand for long periods, work at heights up to 25 feet, handle varying environmental conditions, and engage in precise visual tasks, all performed in a warehouse setting with moderate noise and occasional mechanical risks.

The Post-Harvest Specialist is a full-time non-exempt position responsible for overseeing and executing post-harvest operations including cannabis buck down, curing, sorting, trimming, and related processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with state regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Execute post-harvest tasks including buck down, curing, sorting, and trimming
• Maintain product quality and consistency during handling
• Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines
• Accurately complete required documentation and tracking
• Assist team members and leads with daily tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass a background check in compliance with state regulations
• Must have reliable transportation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Able to stand for 90% of the time. Comfortable with heights, occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights, filters, trellis netting and ceiling fans up to 25ft.

Comfortable working atop and traversing scaffolding, when required. Comfortable with changing environment temperatures and humidity. Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. Work is performed in a warehouse environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
