** What this job involves:
** Join JLL as a Calibration and Instrumentation Technician, where you'll oversee the daily operation of campus systems, utilities, and process equipment while ensuring critical building automation systems operate within design parameters in the most energy efficient manner. This highly technical position is essential to JLL's commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and optimized facility operations for our pharmaceutical and life sciences clients by managing Building Automation Systems (BAS), troubleshooting advanced control systems, and performing calibrations and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and process equipment.
You'll utilize the site BMS to monitor and control systems, manage outside BMS contract service providers, and take appropriate actions to protect equipment and personnel when systems are not functioning properly, directly impacting product quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance in cGMP manufacturing environments. At JLL, we are shaping the future of real estate for a better world, and as a Calibration and Instrumentation Technician, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the sophisticated control systems and critical utilities that enable pharmaceutical manufacturing operations including WFI, Clean Steam, HVAC, Compressed Gases, Waste Treatment, CIP systems, Autoclaves, and Aseptic Filling systems.

** What your day-to-day will look like:
*** Troubleshoot building and process automation from basic to advanced control including digital communications used in automation and control systems, field and test instruments, and install, troubleshoot, and repair campus systems, utility, and process equipment & instrumentation while fine-tuning loops to achieve better environmental control and energy savings.
* Work on Siemens Building Automation System by installing physical devices/instruments, connecting them to field panels, building points and graphics, trending points, managing alarms, performing field troubleshooting, and troubleshooting, repairing, and verifying operation of the SCADA remote monitoring and control system for campus systems, utility, and process equipment.
* Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and physical repair work by testing and calibrating electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and analytical instruments & equipment for conformance to established standards using engineering principles on systems including WFI, Clean Steam, HVAC, Compressed Gases, Waste Treatment, CIP, Autoclaves, Glassware Washers, vessels, Cold/Warm equipment & rooms, Control Systems, and Aseptic Filling systems.
* Interact with other departments to schedule activities around the production schedules of cGMP Manufacturing and Process Development departments, schedule self-performed work assigned at beginning of month and due by end of month, assist team members during equipment startup to identify and correct problems during troubleshooting, and evaluate control system performance to make recommendations that optimize process efficiency, reliability, and safety.
* Read and interpret prints, schematic drawings, manuals, and specification documents, mark up and create red line drawings, provide complete and accurate documentation, maintain trained and certified status as required in cGMP, GLP, HR, and industry procedures, support internal, Client, and Regulatory Agency audits as required, and contribute to the creation and updating of…
