the job looks like:

Position Summary:

The Janitorial Team Lead supports daily operations across assigned facilities by ensuring quality service, filling staffing gaps, supporting team members, and maintaining customer satisfaction. This role serves as a working leader who steps in when coverage is needed, oversees operations in the Manager’s absence, and ensures all cleaning standards and customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Fill in at assigned locations when Team Members are absent to ensure uninterrupted service

Deliver cleaning supplies and materials to buildings as needed

Oversee daily janitorial operations when the Manager is unavailable

Complete customer and/or management requests promptly and professionally

Conduct routine walkthroughs of buildings to verify all work is completed to company and customer standards

Inspect facilities for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance

Address and communicate any issues, deficiencies, or customer concerns to management

Support and assist Team Members with training, guidance, and problem-solving when needed

Ensure proper use of approved cleaning procedures, supplies, and equipment

Maintain positive customer relationships through responsiveness and professionalism

Goal of Position:

To ensure all facilities remain fully staffed, properly supplied, and consistently maintained while supporting both customers and management through dependable leadership and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license & good driving record
• Must have at least 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
