Position

Trades Carpenter - Class IV

Effective Date

Asap

Hours

8 hours per day – 1st Shift, 5 days per week (Monday – Friday), 261 days – 12 months

Pay

Class IV – $24.67 – $29.24

Requirements
  • Obtain special boilers within 3 months and maintain continuous licensure until a chief "C" is obtained (no longer than 54 months from date of hire)
  • Pool License (or obtain within 6 months)
  • Driver's License
  • Trade skills and experience in carpentry: sheetrock, framing, painting, door hardware & keys
  • Acceptable attendance record
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Computer knowledge
  • Pass physical & physical ability test
  • Ability to communicate with all staff
Responsibilities
  • Building construction and carpentry repairs
  • Maintain and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and pool equipment
  • Provide backup for chiefs and all central maintenance positions
  • Provide backup for delivery services (freight, courier, food)
  • Work flexible hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned
