Plant Maintenance Technician Senior

Primary Objective

Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join team in Bloomington, MN.

A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00 AM‑6:15 PM.

• Monitor control system data and take actions when systems are out of control, in alarm, or changing unexpectedly.
• Perform system rounds and rotate equipment.
• Coordinate, plan, and perform equipment preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Work with contractors to make repairs and improvements.
• Work with management, engineers, and other team members.
• Respond to control problems, alarms, variations, and calibrations.
• Document system changes, operating procedures, events, and improvements.
• Solve system and equipment problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, 2‑year degree, or Bachelors degree.
• 5‑8 years of related work experience.
• Understand mechanical components and have ability to repair. Understand preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience working on Facilities Plant systems & equipment such as Reverse Osmosis, Deionized Water, Chilled Water, Building Automation, Makeup Air, Air Handling, Roof Top Units, Hot Water and Low‑Pressure Steam Boilers, Acid Waste Neutralization, Chemical Distribution, Gas Distribution, Fume Scrubbers, General Exhaust, Vacuum & Compressed Dry Air Systems.
• US Citizenship required for security clearance.

• Lifting and moving processing equipment, applicable tools, office equipment and some chemical drums.
• Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, minimum 3‑4 days per week.
• Perform long distance walking, stair/ladder climbing, standing, sitting and data entry.
• Wear complete fab attire for full shift.
• Meet all safety and cleanroom requirements.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment when working with hazardous chemicals, gases and hot/cold outdoor environments.

• Military experience in related field.
• Experience in semiconductor fab facilities.
• Certification or license in related field.

$29.12 – $43.67 per hour, based on experience, skills, education, and credentials.
