Position Details

Sign-On Bonus: All new hires for this role will receive up to $7,500 sign-on bonus (amount dependent on experience).

Position Summary: Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of semiconductor fabrication machines and equipment.

Shift: During training for the first few months, on E Shift: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. After training, D Shift: Thurs–Sat and every other Wed, 6:00 PM–6:15 AM; 25% shift differential.

Responsibilities
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble semiconductor fabrication equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating and repair manuals.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on semiconductor production equipment.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation for quality standards.
  • Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies as required.
  • Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
  • Participate in maintenance or cross-functional teams (e.g., 5S+ and CIP).
  • Take ownership of small projects and equipment assembly tasks.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors as required.
  • Process chemical and gas handling.
  • Maintain critical spares and consumables inventory.
Required Qualifications
  • Education:

    2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or related discipline, or equivalent military training/work experience.
  • Experience and/or Training: 5+ years of semiconductor equipment experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in electro/mechanical/fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures, maintain documentation, and work with attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Ability to define, initiate, manage, and execute projects to improve tool/equipment function; ability to work in a cross-functional team and prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Use hand tools including wrenches, calipers, voltage/current meters, oscilloscopes and other equipment-specific tooling.
Technology/Equipment

Competent with Windows OS interfaces and MS Office suite.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Work 12-hour shifts; starting on E shift, moving to 12-hour shifts in the future (A or

    C).
  • Work with and around chemicals.
  • Wear complete fab attire and meet safety and cleanroom requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of pneumatic/hydraulic pump systems, multi-axis servo systems, vision components, chillers and cooling systems.
  • Familiarity with robotic/automatic handling systems and high-vacuum systems.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $29.12–$43.67 per hour, plus a 25% shift differential. Pay is based on experience, skills, education and credentials.
