Maintenance Planner II; Dayshift

Job Summary

Provide leadership and project management in executing facilities‑related tasks necessary for maintenance, repair, and operation of facilities equipment and systems.

• Ensure proper documentation practices during job activities.
• Schedule and manage preventive maintenance for the Facilities team.
• Track preventive maintenance, calibration metrics and compliance reports for the facility.
• Perform visual inspections.
• Gather, organize, and communicate operational information.
• Use CMMS to manage logistics, inventory, and materials planning.
• Communicate priorities and progress to the team on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in coordinating activities of support groups.
• Monitor records to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Attend inter‑departmental meetings to discuss coordination across departments.
• Coordinate with vendors or other departments to schedule work.
• Interact with other departments to implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams to meet strategic goals.
• Perform data entry.
• Read, understand, and comply with cGMP and SOPs, including safety procedures and lock‑out/tag‑out.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Recommend and initiate activities to keep equipment compliant.
• Assign work tasks and activities to others.

Prepare documentation of activities, actions, and results; update or write job plans as needed; read SOPs and excerpts from technical documentation.

• Extensive experience in maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems, electrical systems, plumbing, compressed air, hydraulics.
• Strong interpersonal, self‑motivated, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
• High school education.
• Experience in maintenance or technical documentation; CMMS background knowledge.
• U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship or support for visas is not available.

• Additional technical experience in maintenance.
• Preparation of detailed technical documentation.
