G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Machine Operator to support the production of innovative power grid equipment. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality electrical components, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Responsibilities include performing routine measurements and inspections, reading work instructions, handling materials, and recording production data. You'll collaborate with a supportive team, follow strict safety procedures, and help drive continuous improvement in a clean, reliable manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines for electrical components
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and production schedules
- Perform routine quality checks and measurements on parts
- Record production data and report issues to supervisors
- Handle materials, load/unload parts, and maintain work area organization
- Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, safe workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals
- Assist with basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
