Painter (Full Time, Mon‑Fri 8a‑4:30p)

Sinai Residences is a senior living community located in Boca Raton, FL, offering independent and assisted living options within a gated 100‑acre campus.

• Prepare and paint surfaces using measuring, spackle, plaster, mixing paint, matching paint, brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces, including hanging vinyl paper, fabric, and foil wall coverings.
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood, and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering.
• Fit and measure inspection hatches.
• Inform Supervisor when supply inventory is required.
• Perform maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager and Refurb Manager: test receptacles and replace light bulbs, plunge toilets and unclog sinks, clean HVAC coils and replace filters, repair TV remote controls, work on appliance controls and replace appliances, perform routine vehicle maintenance when assigned, maintain all tools and equipment, and undertake setups or other duties to assist with maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Be on duty during emergencies or natural disasters.

• Minimum 3 years of painting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical schooling and/or background preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Physical strength to lift 50 pounds and work on rooftops or other high places.

• Moderate to heavy physical effort; work in temperatures, exposure to chemicals, dust, and potential risk of HBV and HIV viruses.
• May work on rooftops or other high places and climb ladders safely.
• May be exposed to high voltage electricity and hazardous equipment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for an extended period (over 80% of the time).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use standard industrial tools.
