Painter​/General Maintenance Technician; Boca Raton, FL

Position: Painter/General Maintenance Technician (Boca Raton, FL)
Our luxury country club in Boca Raton isadding to its Facilities team. We are looking for a Painter / General Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for painting, maintaining and repairing surfaces of the building, furniture, rooms and equipment throughout the facility as well as responsibilities relating to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair.

• Must have AM and PM availability
• Must be available for weekends and holidays

Responsibilities to include:

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the facilities
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering
• Manage related supply inventory
• Additional duties as assigned
• Two (2) to three (3) years of documented work experience directly related to maintenance activities.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
