Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Kitchen Equipment Technician
The ideal candidate maintains and performs preventative maintenance on all kitchen equipment.
Job DutiesJob duties include, although are not limited to:
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Performing equipment repairs and maintaining parts inventory.
- Entering repairs in Repair Log book
- Performing visual equipment evaluations.
- Assisting other team members.
Reports to Director of Property Operation
External RelationshipsHas regular contact with culinary department, contractors.
QualificationsAt least two years' experience of kitchen equipment repair.
- Dish Machines
- Cooking equipment
- Meat Room Equipment
- Mixers
- Bakery Equipment
Skills and Abilities
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Working with a meter
- Electrical Troubleshooting up to 480V 3 phase
- Plumbing
- Steam Equipment
- Refrigeration is a plus
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
