SummaryA Shift Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front‑of‑house areas, as well as back‑of‑house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. They will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems using a Windows‑based computer system.
Responsibilities- General maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front‑of‑house areas.
- Maintenance and repairs in back‑of‑house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems using a Windows‑based computer system.
- Read blueprints and schematics (preferred).
- Basic troubleshooting skills (preferred).
- Minimum of three years of building maintenance experience required.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Good communication skills necessary.
