The Appleton Area School District has a position available for a 1.0 FTE (100%) Day Steward at Facilities and Operations beginning in February 2026.
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Operations, General Maintenance Supervisor, or designee, the Day Steward is responsible for satisfactorily performing functions associated with daily custodial and grounds operations, filling in as a substitute for Building Engineers, and minor maintenance and safety inspection tasks.
The basic work week of full‑time employees will be eight (8) hours per day, forty (40) hours per week, subject to the right of the Department Head to schedule overtime work.
Salary:
Step 1 - $21.11 per hour.
Schedule:
6:00 am – 2:30 pm (M-F) 40 hrs/wk.
