Onsite Service Engineer - Boise

Your role

The Onsite Service Engineer is responsible for providing expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of customer technology through your expertise and supporting the operational success of industries that rely on these technologies.

• Report into the Site Manager.
• Conduct planned and ad‑hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems, diagnosing issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Act as the on‑site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

• High School Diploma.
• Prefer an AS degree (full military equivalent may substitute for an AS degree).

• 1–3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum, ideally with customer‑facing experience.

• Strong customer focus to ensure solutions meet expectations and time frames, working in alignment with Edwards strategies and processes.
• Self‑directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems and to escalates appropriately when required.
• Proactively seeks customer feedback and asks questions to understand the customer’s business.
• Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge and provide coaching to less experienced team members.
• Collaborates and supports with team members to deliver company objectives.
• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards to fulfill organizational, safety, and health obligations.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
• Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work, e.g., technical drawings.
