Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying equipment to ensure reliable operation.
* Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout, JHA/JSA's, and regulatory compliance standards.
* Monitor equipment performance, analyze issues, and respond to alarms to identify and resolve mechanical and system-related problems promptly.
* Collaborate with technicians, leaders, and stakeholders to communicate priorities, provide status updates, support improvement initiatives, and ensure smooth operations.
* Support equipment installations, modifications, and facility projects while following established change management and maintenance processes.
* Complete preventive maintenance activities, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time while driving continuous improvement, cost savings, and equipment reliability.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in an HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical field.
* Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
* Effective written and verbal communication with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
* Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, basic math abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Preferences:
* Relevant degree, appropriate certification, or licenses.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical Effort/
Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
