Position Summary: Work with senior residents to provide deep cleaning of their homes upon request. Show empathy and respect while maintaining a spotless, safe living environment.
Responsibilities- Perform cleaning tasks according to daily work assignments and established housekeeping procedures.
- Maintain living areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
- Follow infection control practices and safety precautions when handling equipment and supplies.
- Clean, polish, and sanitize furnishings, fixtures, heating/cooling units, and bathroom fixtures.
- Wipe and clean windows, mirrors, walls, ceilings, and floors (sweeping, dusting, mopping, waxing, disinfecting).
- Clean carpets (vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting).
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
- Clean hallways, stairways, elevators, and common areas.
- Dispose of waste/trash in proper containers and replace liners.
- Report hazardous conditions or equipment failures to the supervisor.
- Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are stored properly between tasks.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and report deficiencies.
- Assist in lifting heavy equipment or supplies as needed.
- Report all accidents or incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain the confidentiality of resident-care information and honor personal property.
- Turn in found articles to the supervisor and attend departmental meetings.
- Follow fire‑safety policies and documented cleaning procedures for terminal cleaning after a resident discharge or transfer.

Preferred: High school diploma or GED
ExperiencePreferred: One year of experience in a health‑care facility
