Cleaner Janitorial Worker

We have 2 weekend shifts open:
Saturday and Sunday 11am-7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30pm

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Your proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance will ensure environments are hygienic, organized, and conducive to productivity. • Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, windows, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
• Handle chemical agents safely while applying cleaning solutions for optimal sanitation
• Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial machinery to maintain high standards of floor care and buffing
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices
• Maintain cleanliness of industrial or commercial spaces by performing detailed dusting, trash removal, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or chemical exposure

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a solid understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and knowledge of proper manual handling practices
• Experience operating floor buffers, polishers, or similar custodial equipment preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks safely without risk of injury
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter work is advantageous
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety guidelines
