Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Cleaning Services

To provide janitorial cleaning services for the Boise Shop in accordance with company standards, delivering a high-quality customer experience.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash; service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Clean up and polish furniture, fixtures, and mirrors; dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Clean or shampoo carpets
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Move (heavy) furniture, equipment, and supplies either manually or by using hand tools.
• Lawns and shrubbery maintenance and snow removal as directed.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.

• Must follow plant and department safety standards as well as actively promote safe work practices at the machine/workstation
• Must know quality standards and produce to specifications standards
• Must follow policies and guidelines
• Must be present for work on time as scheduled
• Must communicate well with co-workers and managers
• Must be able to read & follow written instructions
• Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Must maintain equipment and tools according to preventive maintenance specifications
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned
• Actively participate in work area improvements
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Cross-train and provide backup in department as directed.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Twist, bend/stoop, push, reach outward, reach overhead, grasp, stand, walk, climb
• Occasionally work at heights; occasionally work outside,
• Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, paint.
• Continuously work inside

• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalency.
