Global Service Technician – On-site Support & Travel

MK Versuchsanlagen is a medium-sized company based in Mücke-Merlau, Germany. We develop and manufacture high-tech custom equipment and testing systems for customers around the world. This position offers a unique career opportunity for technically minded professionals: Following an intensive onboarding and training period at our headquarters in Germany, you will permanently relocate to the United States, where you will support our customers across North America as a Service Technician.

• Daily routine tasks such as troubleshooting, fault rectification, repairs, and maintenance work
• Preparation and follow-up of service assignments using IT-based systems
• Fault analysis in the areas of application, mechanics, and software
• Performing service, maintenance, repair, and calibration work for our existing customers on-site and/or in-house at our branch locations
• Supporting our sales team with your technical expertise by conducting site assessments, selecting suitable equipment, and providing specifications for quotations as well as service and maintenance contracts

• Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience
• Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible way of working
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A pronounced customer-focused service mindset
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, etc. is advantageous but not required
• Basic knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi technologies would be beneficial but is not essential
• Ideally, several years of experience in a service-related role
• Willingness to travel and openness toward different people and cultures
• Interest in professional development and further training (including internal training in hardware, software, and related areas)
• Strong technical understanding and aptitude
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken, as well as solid MS Office skills
