Service Technician Apprentice

Job Overview

As a Service Technician Apprentice, you’ll join Impact’s Service Team and follow a structured, hands‑on training path to become a technical expert in digital office equipment/copiers. Working alongside experienced technicians, you’ll learn equipment setup, implementation, troubleshooting, and service‑call best practices while completing vendor certifications (Konica, Kyocera, Ricoh, and HP). This full‑time, Monday–Friday role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring reliable equipment performance at client sites.

• Work alongside experienced Field Service professionals and gain hands‑on experience to support your future success.
• Complete training as it pertains to preferred vendors (Konica, Kyocera, Ricoh, and HP).
• Become proficient with networking and remote diagnostic tools.
• Train to provide onsite customer service, field repair, and maintenance of digital office equipment at customer facilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and applications.
• Self‑motivated with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to do light lifting of at least 50 pounds.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Results oriented.

The typical base salary for this role is $42,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset, experience and training, licensures and/or certifications, and other organizational needs. Impact may offer applicable incentive compensation plans depending on role and/or department.
