* Job Description:

*
* *** 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts, any day of the week, 11pm-7am.*
* Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, and systems. Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, independently or in collaboration with internal/external trades. Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Documents and maintains records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements.

Requisition s materials and supplies, maintaining inventory to ensure availability for maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls in a timely manner to address urgent maintenance issues. Coordinates with vendors and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration and completion of tasks. Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities and ensure proper procedures are followed. Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions.

Ensures compliance with safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned.

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* - Ability to respond to emergency calls in a timely manner

- Ability to interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions

- Able to communicate in English

- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

- General maintenance skills and willingness to learn new processes or skills

- Positive attitude

- Ability to utilize computers to document all assigned tasks

- Ability to follow instructions and learn in a fast-paced environment

- Self-starter, with the ability to work weekends and or call without supervision

- Ability to climb ladders or heights

- Ability to lift 50lbs or more

- Skilled background in maintenance [Preferred]

- Must have good aural and visual ability to observe operations of equipment to detect malfunctioning and to determine procedures for duties to which assigned
