Outbound Warehouse Clerk

Overview

Ryder is hiring for a Permanent Operations Technician II Wave Clerkin in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is distributed properly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve problems with the day s orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel); working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
