JOB FUNCTION:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential in helping us maintain a well-maintained and efficient environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Complete general preventative maintenance and repairs
* Assist in maintaining a safe work environment
* Complete scheduled tasks and respond to maintenance calls
* Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be at least 18 years old or older
* Must possess a valid Driver's License
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Vocational training or relevant certifications in construction technology is helpful but not required
* General electrical, plumbing, and building systems knowledge
* Trade School or work experience in a mechanical field desired
* PLC and VFD knowledge preferred
* Ability to read and interpret work orders
* General computer skills (diagnostic and administrative)
* High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
* Basic math skills are required
* Uses good judgement to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Must be able to lift items of up to 75 pounds
* Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stand, kneel, twist, reach, and pull frequently
