Position SummaryThe Sr. Maintenance Technician assists in the performance of maintenance duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment and systems of the hospital in good working condition. Minor electrical, mechanical, piping, plumbing and HVAC work, repairs, and other duties relating to the maintenance and engineering of the facility are the primary duties.
This is a full‑time position. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday with rotating call over the weekend every 5‑6 weeks. The pay range is $28.59 to $42.89 hourly, determined based on years of experience and department equity.
Responsibilities- Operate, inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair utility equipment, systems, and structures throughout the building
- Perform mechanical repairs to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure proper equipment operation
- Ensure proper safety education and demonstrate knowledge of facility safety policies
- Covers evening, night, and weekend shifts as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or GED
- 7 years of maintenance/engineering experience
- Plumbing experience
