Job Overview
The Sr. Maintenance Technician works as part of the team to support the ongoing building maintenance program. In this position, you'll perform maintenance inspections and repairs as needed including facility lighting, routine painting, plumbing, electrical, and other related maintenance activities. In addition, you'll utilize your knowledge and skills to perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency situations in the hospital facility.
This is a full‑time position. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday with rotating call over the weekend every 5-6 weeks.
The pay range for this position is $28.59 hourly to $42.89 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
Responsibilities- Operates, inspects, maintains, calibrates, and repairs utility equipment, systems, and structures throughout the building.
- Performs mechanical repairs to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
- Performs preventative maintenance to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Ensures proper safety education and demonstrates knowledge of facility safety policies.
- Covers evening, night, and weekend shifts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 2+ years maintenance/engineering experience
- Plumbing experience
- Trade services preferred
